This application builds travel plans and requires three inputs - the location you are interested in visiting, the type of trip and the length of the trip. Click Generate when the form is complete. The application then uses your inputs to generate an itinerary using the latest AI technologies. Copy the result for your own personal use.

What is a travel plan

A travel plan or travel itinerary is a detailed outline that includes various aspects of a trip or journey. It typically includes information such as the destinations, sightseeing opportunities, activities, and any other relevant information necessary for a successful and organized travel experience.

Why we built this

This site was created to help fellow travel enthusiasts plan their travel itineraries using the latest AI technologies available. As the author of this web application and frequent traveler, it was always time consuming searching multiple websites and manually filtering through places to visit in order to come up with great plans. As many of you know, having a great itinerary can make or break your holiday and can help you get the most out of your trip.

This is a side project intended as a learning opportunity with regards to building a website using NextJS, Typescript, React and TailwindCSS, utilising cloud computing resources such as AWS Lambda, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS S3 and experiencing what it takes to build a product from scratch.

I hope you enjoy using this web application as much as I enjoyed making it. If the site gains traction and starts doing well, I plan to focus more time on improving it.
